Welcome
Tomorrow alas the sun will rise,
Birds be chirpy, weather be wise
Feelings unempty, happiness not in disguise
Wherever he is, my heart lies
As eyes open, heart will pound
Did I see you or hear your sound?
A wait so long, an ache so deep
Days of loneliness, nights of weep
On the road to destiny left alone
Eyes so sad, heart to mourn
In dark dusk I seem engulfed
Want night to end, silence the emotions flood
The bright dawn arrived
Life unsettled, changed sides
Overcame the time’s tide,
Smile appears, tears dried
End gloomy nights, sunny days tweet
Welcome, make me complete

I Am Alone
Take me home, I say who hears?
Give me existence, shatter my fears
Fight for these for me is the same,
Home, family or even a name
No hands to wipe my tears
For bedtime stories yearn my ears
No eyes waiting when I’ll be home
No search, no worry where I roam
At dusk when I fear and close eyes
Can’t see a hand caressing my sighs
In dark, when scary thoughts occupy
Eyes seek all, nears and passer by
Must have harmed him or hit her in last life
So this time He gave me a ‘name’less, ‘dear’less life
I don’t have him who will guide, nor she who will care
Neither he or she who can pair up with me for all play
I am ready for his rebukes, will follow all her advice
Even lose in all games to him or her, be a loser not wise
But please take me home, I say who hears?
Give me an existence, shatter my fears
I aspire nothing else, won’t bother anymore
Please make me ‘your’ child, will wish for blessings from the core
Take me home, I say who hears?
Give me existence, shatter my fears
Fight for these for me is the same,
Home, family or even a name
No hands to wipe my tears
For bedtime stories yearn my ears
No eyes waiting when I’ll be home
No search, no worry where I roam

Voices Unheard Still
What if you cannot speak, I will lend you my voice
Speak as you never spoke, get up and rise
When you are born you cry, we rejoice
Now you cry, we suppress your voice
A day very fast and moving
For you it is a pain, no hand for soothing
Be it menial, be it hard
How they push you, force you my ward
Can’t breathe, can’t speak but hands do work
Who cares you are dead in this murk
Serving, nailing, ploughing all deed
We can’t do these, you do still a weed
Beg, borrow, steal and you will be frayed
Ask for an earned wage, but you won’t be paid
Dying of hunger, no food no fun
Life is there to catch you, how far you may run
All and sundry, punish the same
What sin you committed, in God’s name
I wish all these voices unheard,
Sometimes be listened, slowly word by word
They cannot speak but eyes don’t lie
The only question they ask is WHY?
Expressions plenty, feelings galore
Offer a hand, they do not ask for more
No charity or sympathy, only empathise
May be some day, do not see tears in their eyes
A heart filling plea now follows
To lend your voice if they cannot speak their sorrows
Say, what if you cannot speak; I will lend you my voice
Speak as you never spoke get up and rise..
What if you cannot speak, I will lend you my voice
Speak as you never spoke, get up and rise
When you are born you cry, we rejoice
